Hi everybody I'm Domenico Strippoli a student of Politecnico di Bari. The objective of my work is to analize the characterization of the flow across a finned tube of HRSG using the software ANSYS ICEM CFD.
I realized the geometry in CATIA V5 e then imported in ICEM. An important condition of this study is that the flow must respect the condition of traslational periodicity. The domain is reported in figure 1 and is divided in 3 zones: in the first and the third zone I realize a structured mesh while in the third region is necessary an unstructured mesh (figure 2). I found many difficulties to realize the unstructured region because while I check the mesh, there are periodic problems, even if, I imposed the translational periodicity between the PARTS “SUP NON STRUTT” e “INF NON STRUTT” (figure 3-4-5). I hope that the figures are clear and make me some suggestions to solve this problem. Many thanks, Domenico |
