hi all my problem is divided into 2 parts :
1) i have a problem to extrude my 3d volume structured mesh (part 2) as it is never done some times it says there 1436 un attached elements i need to extrude up and down and to front until it meets the surface of another part ( part 5) 2) after i extrude the mesh i need to merge it with an un structured mesh (part 5) at three surfaces of contact i'm attaching all the files i hope someone can show me detailed method i really need that guys thanks in advance |

It looks like your geometry would be easy to mesh by blocking it all, which would be much simpler than any extruding/merging procedures! From my own experience, extruding and merging meshes in Icem is a complete headache unless you know in details what to do (after hours of trials and errors...).
