is it possible to create virtual edges on the blades

I'm working on meshing of wind turbine blades in ANSYS. I initially created the blades in Solidworks and Created cylindrical domain over it and did subtract feature option to create remove the blades and create a void space. I imported the geometry to design modeller and I need to create a good surface with quad elements on the surface with more nodes concentrated near the leading edge, i did edge sizing on the blades and when I try to create mesh, I get tri elements. Can anybody give tips to create hexa dominated element with good surface mesh in the blades.
