I have a problem when open ANSYS Meshing from workbench:
There I have a big size geometry with about 2000 bodies, I have to import the *.stp file(or *.dbs file) to DM and put all the bodies into one part, and then I click to open the ANSYS Meshing, the problem is the Meshing's progress is stuck for hours and the scroll doesn't move any further. So that I can't mesh any. BUT, if I only import the *.stp file(or *.dbs file), then do not put all the bodies into one part, I am able to open the AYSNS Meshing successfully. Those are two different operations result in two different situations, why? I need the mesh between bodies connected, so I have to generate on part which I can't ignore. Could you please help me to solve this out? My computer has two core and 48G ram. Thank you in advance! |

step and dbs file s are two separate files ,in mesher you cant merge or unite or you cant make single part for confirmal mesh,so please import the step file either in DM or any cad softwares unit the two bodies and take to mesher.
