Hi everyone,

Occasionally I have problems with Imprint face option.

I'm meshing a fan blade (rot. periodic) with small gap between tip and shroud. I'm using multi-zone meshing. The procedure goes like this:

> 2D Surface blocking
> Imprint free face (wing tip block to shroud)
> 2D to 3D (advanced)

Instead of swept block from the blade tip to the shroud I sometimes get strange block from Shroud to Hub. In other cases it is OK. In reality the structure is a bit more complex, I use O grids, etc, but that's not important right now...

Is there anything I could check? Some advice? Thanks.

To add some newer finding: If the blade was shortened to make the gap bigger there was no problem. But I was not able to find if there is some tolerance setting that responses to that.
