Hi everyone!

I am using this tutorial (https://confluence.cornell.edu/displ...oil+-+Geometry) to simulate the 2D flow over an airfoil. I've done everything as it's shown in the tutorial but I have to include the inflation boundary layer too. When I open mesh control > inflation if I select the 4 faces (as shown in the picture below) i get: Active: No, invalid method. What should I do?

This is how it looks like after I've selected the 4 faces.

siw will become famous soon enough
If you are following that tutorial you will see the Inflation is not used. Instead edge sizings are used with biased node distributions.

Using Mapped face meshing excludes the use of inflation method. Suppress Mapped face meshing method and you will be able to use inflation.

As siw wrote author uses biasing to create something like inflation. In this case inflation method would do basically the same as biasing. If you want to change some "inflation settings" try to play with size and biasing ( <- more important).
