Hello,
I recently switched to ANSYS 13 Workbench from a gambit and fluent combination and I am trying to create a 2D geometry and mesh to simulate fluid flow over a thin plate and analyze the heat transfer between the plate and the fluid. The aim is then to add cooling holes along the plate to inject a stream of air for film cooling. I have tried sketching the geometry in design modeller. The plate was created as a surface from a sketch. Then the bounding box for the air was formed as a surface as well and it appears to mesh successfully to a satisfactory refinement however when I enter it into fluent it appears as two solids with no inlets and outlets. How do I rectify this? Regards, |
