Creating named selection of interior region

Hello everyone,
In my project to simulate a heated rod kept open to atmosphere,I first created a solid cylinder representing the rod and then concentric to it, I created a much bigger solid cylinder representing the domain of fluid flow.After that, using "Boolean" operation, I subtracted the smaller cylinder from the larger one, thereby creating a cavity COMPLETELY INSIDE the big cylinder. Now how do I create the named selection for that interior cavity. Any help is appreciated.this is rather urgent .Thnx.. |

I suggest you dont name the interior and rather let fluent take care of it. If you name the interior boundaries they may act as 'interior'.

I have a surface (wind blade) with multiple faces inside an enclosure, I have already subtracted the faces from enclosure using boolean in ansys mesher. How do I specify names of the wall surfaces of the blade. The box slect option doesnot select all the faces
