defining different zones

2 Attachment(s)
Hello everyone

I am trying to mesh a geometry which consists of a porous zone.

1) the geometry is attached.

2) also I have created an initial mesh for the above geometry. I have defined a new material point and put the porous zone in it.

Now I have two different zones which is what I have wanted and it is OK. However as you can see in the initial mesh image, one interior edge is in black color which means that it is not recognized as an interior edge.

This problem will cause an error in fluent.

How can I fix this problem?

thanks in advance

Hi,
Please share the geometry.

sorry, here is the geometry.

Are you facing problem while importing the mesh in fluent?

Or in fluent it is giving erroneous results?

I am getting an error message while importing the mesh.

I have created a new curve in that region and associated that edge to the new curve. Now the problem is fluent consider that edge as a wall. what type of boundary condition should I use?

You can model that as interface or porous-jump.

Also it can be defined as interior
