Hi all,
I'm trying to mesh a geometry and the surface mesh comes out fine. I check it for errors and smooth it, and all appears to be fine. Then when meshing the volume mesh the end result is just the surface mesh. No volume elements are meshed. Any ideas what it could be and how to solve it? |

It basically looks like it finished a normal volume mesh compute and the element number is the same as the surface mesh. Then when I try to smooth the mesh (after error checks) only tri are there.
I asked someone else in the office and they suffered from the same a few months ago and never found out what the problem was. |

Could you fix your problem, this is maybe you did not define the volume region... maybe in ANSYS CFX or within ICEM... if you could solve this issue, please share your solution!!!
I am facing a similar problem right now |
