[ANSYS Meshing] Viewing MultiZone Blocking Topology

Hi,

In the ANSYS Meshing User's Guide (section Specialized Meshing > MultiZone Meshing > MultiZone Algorithms) there are some pictures showing the blocking topology (similar to ICEM) which I have attached here. When I apply the MultiZone method to a body I would like to see the blocking ANSYS Meshing is making, if it can.

How can the MultiZone blocking be viewed in ANSYS Meshing?

I don't think you can view the blocks. Even if you could I don't think you can edit the blocks since Ansys Meshing is "automatic". If you want to influence block structure split your geometry up into simpler, sweepable bodies.

Furthermore, for more control generate meshes per body. I.e. select the middle part and generate a mesh on that first, and then generate a mesh on the two remaining pipes.

I know ANSYS Meshing does not allow any control/editing of the blocking and any must be done at the geometry stage in DesignModeler or CAD. I also know about the selective meshing so that bodies can be meshed in any order to influence the mesh on adjacent bodies.

I just wanted to know how to see the blocks that the MultiZone method makes as per the images I posted from the User Guide. Perhaps in the User Guide the mesh was made in ANSYS Meshing and then passed to ICEM (linked in Workbench) and shown there.
