Hi!

I'm stuck at blocking a volume transition of an extrusion die, which I treat in a project of mine. As you can see in the first picture appended, the mesh doesn't fit the geometry. I think it's a problem of the associations, but I can't get it working properly. Furthermore I am not sure about the necessary blocking itself in this region. Since nobody could help me with my problem I figured, maybe someone here has the time to take a look. I've uploaded a Zip with the files externally. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bxd...it?usp=sharing

Thank you!
Sebastian

Did you try to associate face to surface in that region? Maybe you need to make a split (I mean in your last picture).

Thanks FJSJ,
I will go with that and try it again... I assume with by splitting you mean the upper block in the last picture?

I've solved the problem myself. Basically I had to split the blocks more to connect the edges correctly.

Thread can be closed. Thanks!

Ok. Happy for you. The split I mean was in bottom block in your third picture.
