Easiest way of Generation of Conjugate Meshes for CHT Conjugate Heat Transfer

Hi ! Everyone

I have the complete CAD model of an axial turbine stage. By complete CAD model I refer to the solid of revolution with all the casing, hub attributes, followed by a rotor disk.

Bluntly put, my objective is to carry out Conjugate Heat Transfer analysis considering the end walls of the casing and the disc.

Now!

Is it a good idea if I sit down on ICEM-CFD and try carving out the fluid and solid domains along the curved planes out of the CAD model, then go for meshing.

(Or)

I also have the meshes for single passage fluid domains, the solid blades. Is it better if I move on from there? but I think we will face problems in matching the meshes.

Please advise me on this.
