[ICEM] Meshing a T in both 2-D and 3-D

Hello people. I am using ICEM to mesh a T in both 2-D and 3-D. I am required to make the centre and close to the egdes more dense. I actually could do the one of the edges using the ratio and spacing functions but that of the centre remains an issue for me. please I need assistance. Kindly advice how to do this if you can or have any suggestions.
Sorry I was trying to start a new thread. How do I start a new thread. It will be same question though. Thanks

I've moved your question to a new thread on the correct sub-forum.

What do you mean by "the centre and close to the egdes "?
You want more density in the center of the T and on the edges?

with this function marked in the picture yellow you can choose points around the zone you want to have more density.

Thanks Daniel. I will try to use them once more. My school is closed for the holiday so I will get back to you next week Monday. Thanks once again

I have tried that and it did not work. The one I have problem with is make the centre to be more dense. I am able to do the one of the edges through the blocking strategy pre mesh functions.
Please anyone who can help should please.

with that simbole i market up there in the picture you are able to select several points around the zone you want to have more density... did you see that?

ah in the first place what kinda mesh you want? hexa or tetra?

Ifyi May 7, 2014 14:57

Hexa. Do i have to make a point at the centre? I mean a point at one end and another at the other end?

a screenshot of your geometry would be helpful its a little hard to know what you exactly want
