Hi Friends,

When I try to generate a hexa mesh inside a 3-D cavity using "Project Faces" scheme, ICEM fails and the generated grid (inside) is twisted in vicinity of cavity wall. This twist propagates through the cavity and gradually fades away.
I have tried "Project Edges" scheme and I could get better outcome, but I need to know how to resolve this problem when using "Project Faces". I have attached two figures showing aforementioned schemes compared together.
I will appreciate any comments.

Thanks for replying Far,
I have associated all the edges to their corresponding curves and I have also manually associated the cavity faces to their corresponding surfaces, but it does not solve the problem. I can upload the blocking if it would help to find where the problem lies.
Thanks again.

I think the problems are due to bad geometry/topology. There are several overlapping curves and the surfaces of wing and cavity are also overlapping each other.

You can trimm these surfaces and deleted one of them. Delete all curves and points permanently. Then rebuild topology by using Repair Geometry -> Build topology . Finally associations have to be corrected.
