Dear All
I want to mesh a room with a chimney and a window in opposite side of chimney. My objective is 3D meshing using Blocking Technic. now I don't know if I should ogrid the block of room at first and then ogrid it to the faces around the far field? Or it's better to ogrid it at first and associate all edges to the curves and vertices to points of model and after forming the blocks around the model, ogrid all of them to the faces of far field?
and I also want to know if I leave the body of 3D far field as Fluid and inlet of chimney and window of room is outlet, should I create another body named fluid to allocate it inside the room?
The procedure which I have done is:
1- Creating the geometry and rectangular cube around it as far field.
2- creating the body called fluid inside the far field.
3- creating the block named fluid and associate the edge and vertices to the far field.
4- splitting the block to small blocks around the model.
5- I did ogrid the block around the model and because my model is located on the lower face of far field named "GROUND", I selected the face of ground under the model and did ogrid it.
5- I did associate all edges to curves and etc. Also I spitted small block inside and around the room to small blocks suitable to associate to the windows and chimney to the room surface.

Now I don't know how should I focus on the meshes around the room while there is no mesh density on the far field surfaces.
Sorry if my novella was not clear.

Can you please post only questions?

As far as ogrid is concerned, you should create ogrid in beginning of your work if you need to fit blocking to geometry. If you want to resolve the boundary layer i.e. fine mesh in vicinity of body, create o-grid in the final stage of your project...

Sure. Thanks.

Yeap, I have divided the central block to several small blocks to fit to my geometry. now I want to ogrid them to the faces of farfield. Would you please guide me how come I can ogrid them? I tried several times but I couldn't do it!
