3D Hemisphere Mesh Generation
I've been trying to generate a good 3D mesh for a hemisphere on a flat plate, and found this tutorial.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vAKVVDF_P8 It explains the steps to getting the mesh working well, however, I'm having problems recreating the initial geometry. Are there any hints anyone has to regenerating that geometry? Thanks, Marcus |
In general ICEM comes with all tutorial files. Maybe you just search for *.tin in your ANSYS installation directory.

Just created primitive sphere in Design modeler, you can also do it in icem cfd. Again created enclosure with one symmetry plane at ZX. And here is the geometry. (generic) .
