hi
i am trying to do a simulation for the wind turbine that uses airfoil with movable flaps.so both the airfoil and the flap will be the moving parts of the design.what type of mesh can i use for this type of design??? it will be a 2D simulation and i am using ANSYS workbench and FLUENT 13. hope to get a reply from you thanks in advance |

U need to set mesh motion. That u can set in fluent & nothing is required on the mesh.
I use cfx. In cfx, I use the rigid body and mesh deformation option, to simulate solid motion inside fluid. There is also an "immerse solid" option in which the fluid and solid nodes overlaps. U can check for similar settings in fluent. |
