Hey,
when running a design point study in wb2.0 i am not able to update my new design-points anymore. Since i am doing FSI-simulations, i am changing the whole setup e.g. rotate about an axis and re-run the simulation. Which worked pretty well for a very long time but since my last dp ANSYS and CFX don´t share the same AoA (afai can see it from the errors arising), and therefore cannot map properly between CSM and CFD. I nailed the problem down to the ICEM meshing and found "ICEM CFD´s return status was 7." in the ICM-1.txt within the ICEM folder of the mentioned dp. Funny thing is... the mesh in the folder is correct, and everything looks fine regarding the meshes and the positions/interfaces... it seems like ICEM is telling the wb2.0 smth. wrong which causes the process to stop and use an old mesh, which in turn causes the interface to be wrong (unmapped nodes) etc.... Anybody familiar with the "status 7"? |
