Hello there, I have been using ICEM CFD for a while and conical body meshing has always been a problem for me. Recently, I tried to create a model of a half conical body. The image of the model is attached below.

If I were to use basic splitting and association techniques, the result will be a mesh with bad quality at area near the pointy tip of the cone.

Perhaps, anyone know a better technique ?

try other options in defining nodes instead of bio-geometric like spline, exponential etc may be it work what problem you facing exactly ??
