Hello everyone,

I'm having an issue with unstructured mesh in ICEM given that I receive the error of uncovered faces.
While I know that in hexa case I have to associate edges with curves, in this case I have no idea how to fix it. If I let the software fix the problem, what I obtain it's just a set of tetra sizes randomly placed in my domain.

I enclose herewith my mesh before running the uncovered faces check

Thanks in advance for your help

uncovered face, general means you have un-associated edge and curve.
so recheck it again.
could you pease upload your project file.

I actually know that and know how to fix in hexa mesh.
Instead, I have no idea how to approach the problem in tetra mesh.

I tried to upload the file but, even zipped, doesn't get smaller than 2MB.

My question is: do I have to create all the blocks as in the hexa case?

there is no need to creat blocks since you want to generate the unstructured grid system, it is a fully automoatic process.
1 repair the geometry
2 set the size distribution
3. generate the mesh.

but from you picture, i met some simillary problem before, i suggest you to change the grid generation method . it seems that you use a autoblock way,
try other method

try to use delauney or front advancing method

Both Delaunay and Advancing front give me no proper solution.

I also managed to upload the .prj file

I managed to solve the previous problem but I still encounter some issues when trying to open the file in Fluent.

Once I load it I get the message of uncovered faces although the check in ICEM doesn't show any failure.
