Lightbulb a problem in ansys meshing

hello.
the image i attached shows my problem.
how can i mesh the middle part as the top and bottom parts?
i define number of divisions for edges. but it didn't mesh correct.
plz help me.

You should make other splits (or "slices" in DesignModeler) on the top and bottom edges of your rectangle, and therefore, you'll have 5 different vertical edges. Then you chan especify the number of elements in each of them and remesh to get something as you got already on top and bottom parts

Instead of using sweep method I would use multizone quad/tri and "all quad" as free face mesh type.

how can i do that?

Hi divoone1985,

In designModeler(DM) top ribon you will find "Create>Slice"
Create new Plane where you want slices or select edge you want to slice and you have your 5 different parts.
