Hi all,
I am working on modelling small compressor using ICEM. From past couple of days am getting this strange problem, whenever am creating the prism layers in the model and exporting it to CFX-Pre, I am getting this error: "CFX-Pre Application Error Application Error in CFX-Pre: ERROR There was a problem importing the mesh from the requested file. The importing process reported the following problem: Unable to import mesh: Can't generate valid element" Strange part is I've done this many time before but never encountered any such problem and now out of blue this error pops up. To my knowledge I am not making any major change in the model or meshing parameters but only minor design iterations of varying the outlet extension length. If anyone could throw some light on this error, it would be really appreciated. |
