Hi,
I am using ansys workbench. I have a simple rectangular 2D surface with length 100mm and breadth 50mm. i meshed my geometry with mesh size 0.001mm. But the process aborted showing an error message "Invalid geo entity error while meshing, process aborted"

I have also used Inflation in my geometry. Please help me why such an error. is there any other Options to use such a small mesh size.

Maybe you could post some pictures/screenshots of your geometry and write kind of settings you used? What are your parameters for inflation? etc

intital size seed: active assembly
smoothening: medium
min size: 0.001mm
max face size: 0.001mm
growth rate: Default
min edge length: 25mm

Inflation:

use automatic Inflation: None
Inflation Option: smooth transition
Transition Ratio: 0.272
max layers: 2
