Dear all,

I am trying to make a mesh around a building.
I was using gambit so far and it works quite well.
I am trying to do the same mesh in Ansys Meshing but I am having some problems. In detail I get a non conformal mesh (faces are not matching along the contact face between two different volumes, see picture attached).

These are the operations I made with Design modeller and Ansys meshing.

DM:
Create box (my building)
Freeze
Enclosure
Boolean/subtract -> Now I have only one volume (named air)
Create different planes
Slice -> Obtained different volumes slicing the air volume with the planes

AM
I have tried to use contact region and size function on edges, but withous success. Indeed all the times I mesh, the resulting is non conformal.

How can I make the cells in the contact region be the same?

Maybe I am just trying to mesh as I will be in gambit but it is not really possible. or maybe I am making some silly mistakes.

I found that I can mesh the edges of the two coincident faces the same then I do not have any problem anymore with non conformal mesh.

However, it is there an easiest way to define the contact between these coincident faces?
I tried to use contact inside DM but then AM forgets about it.

I found that in DM, under parts, selecting the parts you have, right mouse button and selecting form new part, when we switch to AM we do not have anymore the problem with multiple faces!
