Hello. What is the difference between refinement and mesh indepence? When I change the refinement level in icem, mesh sizes get smaller but element number does not change.

Mesh independence is to check whether or not your simulation results change with changing the mesh size.

There must be something else wrong, decreasing the cell size should increase the cell count.
