Hello, i'm meshing a dam, block by block, and i would like to have a unstructured mesh in two orthogonal directions (attached image drawing in yellow) but i'm having some problems in the inclined border(attached image drawing in red). I unassociate all the vertex to the points and edges to lines. Thank you!.

Thank you so much, it worked well. But now i have another problem i want to refine (increase) the mesh density after the crest, but when i do it, there are nodes that are not connected. if there any command to do the transition (as in yellow in the image or similar)?. Thank you

Is it one body or two different bodies?

Yes exactly so how does ICEM know that you want it to be one body?

I am not sure how to do it in ICEM, i mesh in ansys meshing, but you need to combine the two bodies into one part, that way ICEM will know that there are two bodies but you want the meshing to be conformal.

I would suggest that you just do the meshing in Ansys meshing instead that will save you a lot of time.
