Dear all,
I am totally new with DM scripting language. I managed to load the points from a .txt file without any problems and I was also able to connect these points, although the programme takes ages to accomplish the task. These points connected create a network of triangles. So in other words the txt file looks like: Group ID x y z 1 1 1 2 1 3 2 1 2 2 2 3 ...... My next step was to create surfaces from the edges I determined above. I wrote a script but it only works for isolated triangles. For instance, if two triangles of two different groups share one vertex or one edge then the surfaces are not created. Can anybody help me with that? In addition I have uploaded a txt file of my script and another one with some example coordinates. If you need more detailed information, please let me know. Thank you! |
