Hi all,

One of two zones has been meshed by sweeping, the other one has been by tetra,

Some small gaps and overlapping have been occured as you can see the attached photo,

Anyone who will help me will be appreciated!

Kind Regards,

its cuz of different mesh type settings!
do you want to mesh them with different mesh type and why?

Hi Kapı,

Yes you are right. The reason why I want to mesh them with different mesh type, model that is placed in attached pictures has 2 fluid zones. and 1 solid zone

Gob (melt-glass) is placed inside solid zone. As you can see, it is proper to mesh sweep method and solid one has not special case to mesh. That's why it occur.

Moreover I have tried something different mesh method in same geometry. Melt glass-sweep and inflation, air fluid zone is patch-conforming and last one solid zone is patch-independent. Mixing order meshing has occured this time.

you can make those faces and edges more accurate by giving sizing function.
that way it wont deflect from its original geometry.
or you can use one of the repair tools in DM to fix it.

Thank you Kapi

Moreover, I would like to ask you a question. Is it impossible to apply different mesh methods in a model? for example, there are 3 zones, one of them is patch-independent,other one is patch-comforming, last one sweep or default tetra mesh and they are maybe structured mesh or when I make ''sizing'' or refinement it will be unstructured mesh ?

Kind Regards,

yes you can use different mesh techniques and "sizing" doesn't depend on it.
