Hi, all,
I am confused by the control volume. The node generated in ICEM CFD is the node of control volume? If so, the control surfaces are invisible, right?
Thanks for any help.

You mean the control volume which is created by the cfx-solver? This is different from the ICEM one.

Really? I create a volume around a specified node in CFX-Post, there are eight meshes included. And the eight aligned well with the mesh lines.
Could you please show me the control volume in CFX-Solver? Thank you very much, Adam.

The volume you see in post is the same as in ICEM. But the solver generates its own control volume for calculation, see documentation.

Thank you, Adam.

I think I am right after referring to documentation. Node is the center of the control volume, and control surfaces in solver are not mesh surfaces in ICEM. ^_^
