How To Install ICEM CFD????

Dear Friends,
Can some body pls tell me the procedure to install ICEM CFD 11 in detailed steps. Because i am facing some problem in installtion. Thanks for ur support friends........ Pls give me reply its very urgent friends...... With regards, Sangeetha |

There is an installer...
did you try the setup.exe? Other than that, if you have any troubles installing you should just contact ANSYS (techsupp@ansys.com), unless you are a pirate... ;^) |

I have installed ANSYS package in ubuntu 9.04 64 bit. But I am not able to figure out how to start ANSYS ICEM CFD package. Kindly help me in this regard.

In the BIN folder you will find the ICEM CFD executable...
or you could type "icemcfd" from the command prompt. But be aware that we do not officially support Ubuntu although I do know of some people using it (mostly) successfully. |

Thanks for the reply. I tried running the following executable (and few others)
"/ansys_inc/v121/icemcfd/linux64_amd/bin/icemcfd" but the terminal does not recognize the command "icemcfd". Further, if possible, please provide me details of CFD forums that support Ubuntu. Thanks |
