hi
I have tried to design a 3D elbow in gambit with instructions found on the site
1 circular face
2 draw an hyperbol starting from the centre of the circular face
3 sweep circular face along the edge
but it does not work i have a error message writing that face and edge have common points ...
If anyone could help me !
I think i willpost another thread for the meshing !
thanks a lot
gambitly yours,
nathalie

copy your edge and re-try with the edge you just created with copy (face and edge will be separated)

thanks max,

I have tried what you wrote. But there are still problems remaining. I have the same error message telling me that the face and edge path are parallel ??
If someone has any idea .. thanks
Nathalie

this isn't the same error message.
Now your face and the edge are on same plane?
Just copy your edge with translation (give an translation, else both edges will be superposed)
