Hi, i'm a student, i have a problem. when i ave to make a mesh of a muffler. The geometry of the muffler is produced by a 3D scanner and i exported the geometry as iges file. When i import the geometry in gambit and i try to change geometry to do the mesh there is a problem:

"Can't operate on face v_face... with associated non-real geometry"

Besides when i import the iges file i can't choose option translator spatial but only native.

Can i do? Thank you

-mAx- will become famous soon enough
I assume Iges import, creates virtual geometries.
So you cannot use features for real geometries (like boolean operation for example)
