Difference between real & virtual line, face, & volume??

Hi...
I've made geometry of turbine in GAMBIT. In my drawing there are virtual and real line. sometime, virtual cannot be converted to real line. What is Difference between real & virtual line, face, & volume?? what is the effect in my simulation in FLUENT??

Thanks

no impact of the simulation and mesh itself.
Just on the construction of your geometry (split-merge etc...).
For instance boolean operations work only with real entities
Splits are easier with real entities, but not impossible with virtuals.
