Hi everyone,

is someone using ANSYS DesinModeler with imported geometries?
I must include a .spt file in a created geometry, the problem is that i don't know how to delete the space occupied by this imported file from the previous geometry.

Does someone have some tip for me?

Dear Ema
What do you mean with "the space occupied"

In DM, you have a history tree on the left hand side...

In the tree is a branch with the import (probably at the top if you did that first). You can click on that and the details panel will show the settings for the import. You can use this to select a different file, adjust the import settings, etc.

You could also delete this branch from the tree if you don't want to import anything.

If the rest of the tree is dependent on that model, you will have a problem, but if the rest is free standing geometry creation, you will be fine with the update.
