Need help regarding meshing in GAMBIT
 

hi guys, i have a mesh with me which has 14400 cells. i would like to increase the number of cells to 28800 using gambit. are there any simple and direct tools to do this in gambit? thankyou.

you cannot ask Gambit to reach a specific number of cells.
You can only set the element size.

Hi,
you can use Split Quad Meshes command to make quadrilatral face mshe elements into triangular one.
in this way you can increase your mesh size drastically.
