Hi everyone,

I shift from Gambit to ansys workbench but i really need your advice to help me to solve the problem.

When i using the mesh generator inside ansys workbench, i find it's really hard to control the fisrt height of node if i don't choose inflation option, i want to have full hexa element and my model can be fillled so, then i insert sizing of edge with the options of number of divisions and bias factor, but this kind of expanding speed is less than the successive ratio that we have in Gambit, so if i want to have the desired first height it will need lots of nodes(my case is about hvac).

I am looking forwad to your reply!

You can calculate the bias factor and number of cells from the desired first cell height, successive ratio and edge length using the equations I posted there: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ans...tml#post307694
