Grid Spacing Calculation

and i want to ask you if there is somewhere in the "internet" a explanation with formulas for this calculator? which formulas are used?

i roughly understand the calculation basics, but i have some trouble by calculating my shear stress for the grid spacing :(


would be nice if there are somewhere the equations listed or so.
