Gambit sedan tutorial problem

I know its a simple and probably stupid problem but when i am trying to create faces in the sedan tutorial..i have an error message saying "Check the loop connectivity" I have tried connecting edges and vertices but nothing. Any help will be greatly appreciated. thank you

Clike on the SPECIFY COLOR MODE icon (next to the EXAMINE MESH).
If the edges are well connected the vertex should appear in blue. If not they appear in orange

thanks a lot Max for actually looking at my problem. ok, i tried connecting faces and stuff but nothing works. how can i connect them so they turn blue. if it helps, my problem is in the sedan tutorial. on the half body design. the side that is connected to the face of the box.

you are trying to create a surface unsuccessfully, so you have an edge connectivity problem (or vertex).
Switching on SPECIFY COLOR MODE will show you which edge/vertex is giving you problem.
On the edges you are picking for creating the surface, try to double click on each edge. When you are finished, check on the list of picked edges, how many edges you have selected.
For example, if you try to create a 4 edge surface, and you see 6 edges in the list, then you have a connectivity problem. --> just inspect where are superposed edges
If you understand what I mean, you can do the same with vertex.

thanks a lot man. and sorry for taking so long to reply. had some private problems had to sort out.

Hi mAx, I'm having the same problem with connectivity. I clicked on of one my edge and there are indeed two edges on the list. But how do I know which is the superposed edge and how to solve the problem of connectivity? It seems that the edges cannot be deleted either.

Hope you can help me out a little, really appreciate it. Thanks!

the question is: do you have only superposed edges or superposed faces (which implies also superpoed edges)?

Both edges and faces...but umm, i kinda did some trials and errors and solved it when i connect the faces/ edges before proceeding further.. i learned that i wont be able to mesh properly if i didnt connect the faces together nicely.. but thanks! Learned a lot from your replies in the forum mAx ;)
