Hi, using Gambit 2.4.6 with Exceed 2006 on Win 7.

Key error is: Warning: locale not supported by Xlib, locale set to C

As a consequence Gambit runs very slow on my machine - any ideas?

Windows 7 came out after the last release of Gambit. This doesn't mean it won't run, but only that it could not have been tested .

I am not in Windows 7 yet, are there options (right click on the executable) to run in an XP mode?

They had something like that for Vista.

Yes there is, use ICEM

Ok, I remember I used X-ming instead of Exceed. It was faster but not perfect at all. However the newes version of Exceed should works perfect.
