hello boys...
i'm trying for a fine mesh in a blade tip. i can't modify the edge element length, and i don't know why. i can made the surface mesh, but when i attempt to do the volume mesh i have an error message.
could you tell me how to fix this problem?
thank you in advance!

i have the folowing error message:
The program NVOL3D Version 4.10p terminated before completing.
and same warning message about the surface mesh containing very small interior angles.
but if i coarse the surface mesh i can finish the volume mesh. but i'm trying to refine the mesh to compare the results betwen two mesh layout.

so i want to refine the edge mesh, but i can not modify it.
do you know what i'm doing bad?
thanks

NVol3D is the old CFX Advancing front mesher, it was developed by the good folks at GE and brought into ANSYS meshing and ICEM CFD when CFX joined the fold...

Have you tried using ANSYS Meshing without CFX Mesh?

I have found that the other Tetra mesh methods are all more robust and faster than NVol3D.

Basically, this mesher needs a good surface mesh to begin with and the blade configuration results in two triangles (probably on either side of the trailing edge) that are two close to overlapping. When the mesh was coarser, these triangles were bigger and the gap was manageable.
