Constant Interval Ratio in Gambit

Hello, I have started looking at meshing a 2D airfoil profile in Gambit.

I think I pretty much have the idea of blocking to control the size and quality of the mesh, but there is something I'd like some help with.

I have done and offset of the profile at various lengths to make up the leading edge of the C grid. At intervals, I then split this up to make faces, as in the attched image.

I then mesh the edges of the faces to control the mesh, using 'Interval Count' and 'sucessive ratio' method. The only issue is really, if I use the sucessive ratio method, I end up with large spacing towards the end of an edge, but the edge connecting to it which makes up another face does not match up in terms of the node size increasing constantly. Say the node space at the end of one edge is 100mm, I would like the next edge to it to keep the sucessive ratio increase constant.

I have tried using various methods such as virtual lines but I can't seem to find the right method. It's as if I need to merge the edges first to mesh them, the split the edge up to make the face, but then I lose the mesh.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm sure it's a common method.

Thanks a lot.

don't undersand clearly the problem, but did you try using Size Function instead of meshing edges?
