Working with Topography Contours from Civil 3D

I need to model a dam in ANSYS for thermal analysis as well as dynamic stability. I have a 3D surface for both the dam structure itself and the dam site topography created in AutoCAD Civil 3D version 2010.

Is it possible to import these surfaces directly into Design Modeler ?

At least, I need to import the topography. Meshing the dam itself can be done in Design Modeler. But I'm really not sure how the topography can be created natively within Ansys.

Thanks..
