Hi friends,

I have created a mesh for my fan model but there are only one cell zone.
Can someone help me to create new zone around an impeller ?

Ok I can only help you on the Gambit side.
The idea was to split your volume around your impeller.

anyway I have ICEM and CFX mesh too but I don't have Gambit

You can draw a circle in DM and then extrude it thru the volume (around the impeller). You will see options for trim or add material, but there is also one for "cut". There are lots of ways to slice up a body in DM... Maybe find a meshing tutorial that covers this and then apply it to your situation. Look up Slice in the help.

Then create a named selection for each volume so each can come into Fluent as a different fluid volume for easy selection...
