hi.
i m modellling a compressor stage to determine the rotor stator interaction and accoustical failure detection...........for this how can i determine the suitable cell size for meshing if the blade height is 178mm and airfoil width is 4mm ..... do u have any idea about this ???

If you know the range of frequencies you want to resolve, and also the number of gridpoints per wavelength that your need for your spatial scheme, then I think you should be able to back out the grid spacing from that.
