Hi

I am using my own code to solve the problems like flow over cylinder and turbulent impinging jet. I cannot able to generate accurate meshing using my own mesh generator.
I am looking for a mesh generating software which should be easier to get the meshing details like connectivities and nodes after generating the mesh.

ICEM CFD supports over 100 output formats and a variety of meshing methods and element types. I am sure it would work nicely for you. Many ICEM CFD users are solving on 3rd party or in house solvers.

ANSYS Meshing is also a good general purpose mesher. While it is more focused on supporting ANSYS CFD and FEA solvers, it can output its mesh in FlLuent.msh format or in CGNS format for use with your solver.

Have you determined what mesh format you would like to use? If not, then I recommend choosing to use either the Fluent.msh or CGNS format. Both are well documented and can be generated by a wide range of meshing tools.

Thanks for your reply

I am not aware of the particular format of the file. I am interested in the file which should contain information of mesh connectivity like
their position in space , list of boundary faces, and boundary flag.
I will select the software which will be easier to get those informations, and i am not going to use complex geometries. Since i am going to validate my code , so i am considering the basic examples
