Hi all,

I want to use a face to split a volume in Gambit, after the voume been splited, gamibt gives a warning "connected gemotry may be imprinted by the requested operation". Does somebody can explain it? Dose it mean I can't split the volume by using face? I wish some one can help me.

Regards
Han

Hi,

if your volume is split you can ignore the warning. In some cases the split can cause unexpected results or is even impossible (such as face doesn't cut volume entirely). But if everything is OK you don't have to take care about the warning.
