Hydrocyclone mesh

Hello,

I have a problem generating a hybrid (Hexa and Tetra) mesh for my hydrocyclone.

The main problem is with the inlet that I have to use Tetra mesh for that and I need to coonect Tetra and Hexa somehow at the interface of inlet and cylinder.

As you can see in the picture http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2mcaczl&s=3

Hydrocyclone body is meshed by Hexa cells, but inlet is meshed by Tetra.

Can anyone tell me how to do this and generate a mesh like this in my hydrocyclone or refer me to someone or some link that I can get help?

Thanks a lot,

Morteza

split your hydrocyclone close to your inlet, and mesh this transition volume. It should be meshed as the last volume.
Is the picture refering to your mesh? if yes, then you have bad cells in the duct tangential to cyclone
