[ICEM]How to use prism layers properly?

Dear All!

I’m new with ICEM going through tutorials but I’m stuck. I have to have prism layers in the inlet surface of a pipe but instead I have them in the cylindrical shell. What did I do wrong with the settings?

Thanks!

I guess your inlet is where the flow is coming from. It means that the flow is perpendicular to the inlet. Am I right? If yes, you can't have prism layers on your inlet :
The prism layers are used to simulate the boundary layer, so it's logical that you have prism layers in the cylindrical shell, but not logical to have prism layers on your inlet.
