CSTR Geometry
 

Hello,

My name is Vitor, i'm from Brazil and i'm a chemical engineering student.

I'm trying to simulate a CSTR (Continuous stirred-tank reactor) with Rushton impellers, for i cam get a residence time distribution (RTD) of the reactor.

But i don't know how to build the geometry and the mesh for the problem, i'd never worked with moving walls in CFD.

Could anyone please send me any tutorial or tips?

I already looked for information on http://www.fluentusers.com and www1.ansys.com/customer with no success.

I'm working with ANSYS Workbench 12.1

The moving walls is not special to the mesh... It is just a boundary condition.

You really need to start with some tutorials. Hopefully someone can send you some good links.
